She finished the beginner version (which I struggled to get working on an old Mac Mini). The lessons seem pretty adequate for my 6yo daughter. If you have a newer Mac or Win7/8 machine you may have better luck. I get the sense that the software is over 10 years old and only minimal work was done in the last five years to keep it working up to Win7/8. It requires Quicktime, but the version supplied would not install on XP.
